Alabama Launchpad is a program of the Economic Development Partnership of Alabama Foundation. The EDPA Foundation partners with six research universities in Alabama to promote and reward high-growth, innovative startups from across the state. The program is for new, innovative ventures in the seed or early-growth stages and for existing businesses moving into a new high-growth market. Participants have unique opportunities to access sound business advice and to critical startup and development capital. Through a proof of concept competition, a seed stage competition, and a technology database, Alabama Launchpad provides a framework for individuals in the state to locate innovations, develop their business ideas, and connect to a network of experts, investors, and service providers that can increase the odds of success.
