A: No, the application is a PDF document and cannot accept images/graphics.
Q: Can graphics or images be submitted as attachments via email or through the website?
A: No, only responses within the application will be reviewed by the application committee.
Q: Can a team submit its own application template?
A: No, all teams are required to complete the same application.
Q: Do proof-of-concept teams complete the same application as seed-ready teams?
A: Yes, all teams are required to complete the same application.
Q: Do the character limitis within the application include characters and spaces?
A: Yes, the limits include characters (letters/numbers) and spaces.
Q: I haven't formed a company yet, how do I respond to questions within the application that refer to a "company" such as "Where do you see your company in 5 years" or "How soon do you anticipate the company's products and/or services will be ready for market?"
A: The term "company" within the application is being used generically and is not intended to imply that a teams must be a legal company to participate in Launchpad.
Q: Do I have to pay before I can submit my application?
A: No, you may submit your application independently of paying the application fee. However, the application fee must be paid by the deadline (October 10th, 1:00 p.m.) for your application to be considered in the competition.
Q: When will I find out if I've made it into the 2011-2012 Alabama Launchpad class?
A: The review committee will begin their analysis of the applications on October 10th and will make their decisions regarding the Alabama Launchpad class of 2011-2012 the week of October 17th. The Alabama Launchpad team will contact each team to inform them of the review committee's decision.
